Sign up for this full day workshop packed with basic and advanced topics on imaging guided breast intervention. The workshop is tailor made for radiologists (including residents and fellows), surgeons, radiographers and clinicians with an interest in breast intervention.
Coverage will include lectures and hands-on sessions on a breadth of procedures such as core biopsies, wire localisations and clip deployments, with a particular focus on vacuum assisted excision biopsy under ultrasound, tomosynthesis and MRI guidance. In addition, experience first-hand the more advanced techniques such as the up-and-coming Cryoablation which can be used for the management of both benign and malignant tumours, and be introduced to Radioguided Occult Lesion Localisation (ROLL) as well as High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU).
Familiarisation and hands on experience with basic radiological intervention technique such as core biopsy, clip deployments and wire localisations.
Familiarisation and hands on with vacuum assisted excision biopsies under ultrasound, tomosynthesis, and MR guidance.
Introduction and hands on experience with novel techniques such as cryoablation and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU).
Introduction to Radioguided Occult Lesion Localisation (ROLL).
